About the Library

Library Board

The Chicago Heights Public Library Board of Trustees is the library's policy making body. Nine members are appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council for three-year terms. The Library Board meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Library Board Room. The dates for 2010 are:

• April 8
• May 13
• June 10
• July 8
• August 12
• September 9
• October 14
• November 11
• December 9

The Library Board is appointed by the Chicago Heights City Council. The current board members are:
